The cooling methods of oil cooler and air cooler are the same, including air cooling and water cooling. In case of poor environmental conditions, the fins of air-cooled cooler are easy to be covered by dust and affect the cooling effect. In serious cases, it will lead to automatic shutdown due to excessive oil and gas temperature. Therefore, the dust on the fin surface should be blown away regularly with low-pressure air; If it cannot be blown clean, it must be cleaned with solvent, and the cooling surface of the cooler must be kept clean.
When the pipes of the water-cooled cooler are blocked, they must be soaked in solvent, and the scale blocked in the pipes must be removed mechanically to ensure complete cleaning.
2. Oil filter
The function of the oil filter equipped with differential pressure transmitter is to remove impurities in the oil and keep the lubricating oil clean, so as to protect the operation of the main engine of the air compressor. If the filter is blocked, it will lead to insufficient oil supply of the main engine and increase the oil and gas temperature, which will affect the service life of all moving parts of the main engine.
When the oil filter is blocked, the differential pressure transmitter gives an indication and the signal light is on, stop the machine for inspection or replacement in time. Whether to replace the filter element shall be determined according to the actual situation.
3. Oil shutoff valve
The oil cut-off valve is mainly composed of valve body, valve core, floating plug, spring and other components. The oil cut-off valve is one of the important components in the compressor. Its working principle is: at the moment of startup, the high-pressure chamber of the main engine will supply air to the end of the oil cut-off valve. The piston overcomes the spring pressure and pushes open the floating plug, that is, open the valve core of the oil cut-off valve and start oil supply.
When the unit is running, the oil shutoff valve is always open; After the unit is shut down, the oil cut-off valve shall be closed in time to prevent oil from flowing into the main engine.
